Must Haves
- 3+ years Hands-on experience on designing, developing, deploying, and managing APIs and integrations using MuleSoft Any point Platform and Cloud Hub.
- 3+ years’ experience Strong programming skills in Java, including object-oriented design and performance optimization.
- 3+ years’ Experience building microservices using Spring Boot, including REST APIs and dependency injection.
- 3+ years Familiarity with Apache Camel for routing, mediation, and enterprise integration patterns.
- 3+ years’ experience of API-led connectivity, microservices architecture, and cloud-native design principles.
Qualifications
We are seeking a highly skilled Integration Specialist to design, develop, and support middleware solutions on Cloud Hub (MuleSoft Any point Platform) and on-premise OpenShift environments.
- Hands-on experience on designing, developing, deploying, and managing APIs and integrations using MuleSoft Any point Platform and Cloud Hub.
- Strong working knowledge of Any point Studio for building, debugging, and testing Mule applications.
- Solid experience with Data Weave for complex data transformation (JSON, XML, CSV).
- Strong programming skills in Java, including object-oriented design and performance optimization.
- Experience building microservices using Spring Boot, including REST APIs and dependency injection.
- Familiarity with Apache Camel for routing, mediation, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Knowledge of API-led connectivity, microservices architecture, and cloud-native design principles.
- Knowledge and experience integrating front-end UI with the constructed API
- 9 Experience using AI coding tools to improve development productivity, code quality, and automation
- Collaborates with business and technical inter-divisional staff and professional services to deliver and sustain API development and integration solutions through the life cycle and reports progress to manager, stakeholders and team members and ensures successful delivery of solutions adhering to project management methodology
- Determines requirements, analyzes and recommends feasible options, designs, builds and/or codes, acquires, tests, and implements enterprise information structures and applications, to meet critical City-wide and divisional business objectives and to provide a scalable enterprise solution
- Applies technical expertise to recommend, develop and maintain corporate policies, procedures and standards that are consistent with legislation to ensure enterprise information and applications integrity
- Applies technical expertise to ensure security, privacy and quality assurance requirements are implemented in a manner that delivers business requirements and is consistent with MFIPPA and legislation, thereby ensuring the integrity of complex enterprise information and applications
- Develops and/or applies complex business and application models, information structures, data models, data schemas, technical program code, network and security interfaces, data and application design as governed by architectural frameworks, technology standards, information
Deliverables Include:
- Prepare requirements specification, technical documentation (system architecture, design documents, and technology stack descriptions), user documentation.
- Prepare database schema, entity-relationship, and data flow diagrams.
- Prepare test plans, test cases, scenarios, and results documents.
- Track problems, defects, and issues within a large project.
- Assure the quality of integration delivered by the team
