Responsibilities include the following;
- Represent parents in public law children cases, including care and supervision order applications.
- Manage a busy and varied caseload effectively, ensuring high standards of client care.
- Undertake advocacy in court where appropriate, with training and support provided.
- Collaborate with colleagues across Birmingham and Wolverhampton offices to deliver excellent service.
- Contribute to team development and uphold the firm’s purpose of improving lives and communities.

Essential Experience and Skills:
- Qualified Solicitor or CILEx Lawyer (with litigation rights), ideally NQ-5 years’ PQE.
- Experience handling public law children cases and representing parents in care proceedings.
- Strong client care skills with a commitment to access to justice and supporting vulnerable clients.
- Ability to manage a busy caseload while working effectively as part of a team.
- Advocacy experience is desirable, but full training and support will be provided.
