High School Mathematics Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Design engaging lesson plans for Grade 9-12 students.
• Adopt innovative pedagogies, discussion-based learning, and project-based learning.
• Differentiate instruction based on students’ learning styles
• Encourage collaboration among students.
• Promote an inclusive classroom environment.
• Attend department and faculty meetings.
• Subscribe to the school's mission and philosophy

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics (or related subject) is required; advanced degree(s) preferred.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of teaching experience, ideally at the K-12 level.
• Desire to collaborate with colleagues on curriculum design, pedagogy, and assessment.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Passion for developing student interest in mathematics
• Interest in contributing to the school community outside of the classroom, as an athletic coach, student advisor, club leader, etc.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills.
