The Member Engagement Advisor is a specialized lending professional highly focused on guiding members through the lending journey, primarily supporting all internet lending applications. This role emphasizes a consultative, sales-oriented approach, building deep relationships with members by asking insightful questions and thoroughly exploring opportunities to enhance their financial well-being. The advisor acts as a trusted partner, using their expertise to advise members on loan options, structure personalized solutions, and uncover other opportunities within the credit union to help them achieve their goals.
What You’ll Do
- Answer multi-channel inquiries about loan products and provide member as much resolution as possible.
- Reviews loan applications for accuracy; obtain credit reports, etc. and provide guidance on requested products, services, and financial matters.
- Explains terms and conditions including payment amounts/due dates, and interest rate.
- Promote Credit Union products and services based on member needs.
- Open member accounts, resolve issues, and handle the member’s daily needs.

- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to effectively communicate Credit Union products and services.
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic with a willingness to support others on your team.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Ability to proficiently operate a computer, calculator, and copier.
- Customer service experience and specialized financial courses a plus!
