
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and automate systems supporting pre‑trade risk and regulatory controls, the internal matching engine, and position inventory management.
- Build resilient, distributed architectures that meet stringent high‑availability and performance requirements.
- Deliver high‑quality, reusable code by applying best‑practice engineering standards.
- Support our Continuous Delivery approach by creating automated tests and enhancing tools for automated builds and deployments.
- Participate in regular code reviews and contribute to peer learning through knowledge‑sharing and technical training sessions.
Profile required
- Solid experience with C++11/14, with supporting work experience, personal or open source projects contributions
- Quality oriented with emphasis on software design and architecture
- Previous experience in Finance is not mandatory
- Experience with C++17 and template metaprogramming. Curiosity in C++20/23/26
- Experience in multi-threading and concurrency problematics
- Experience with development on Linux platform
- Knowledge of network protocols and socket programming
- Knowledge of Python scripting language
- Experience in pre-trade risk and regulatory controls
- Previous experience in matching engine

As a software engineer, you will work within a cross‑functional group responsible for delivering pre‑trade and regulatory controls, an internal matching engine, and position inventory management solutions for major financial exchanges across the Asia‑Pacific region. You will also contribute to strategic initiatives by developing new product offerings that support the firm’s evolving business needs.
Based directly on the trading floor, you will collaborate closely with front‑office users, gaining firsthand exposure to trading workflows and the impact of your solutions.
