Shift Details: Weekdays 1000-1830. No weekends. 2 holidays per year.
Job Summary:
Participates in the needs assessment, design, implementation and evaluation of orientation, staff development and continuing education relevant to Access Services Representative staff. Assesses competency of staff and implements relevant training on an as needed basis. Implements ongoing education to ensure excellence in patient care and customer service. Identifies process improvements, maintains quality and process improvement practices and conducts audits. Other duties as assigned, including working in the Access Service Rep (ASR) role when not involved in onboarding/ educational activities.
EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:
A minimum of 2 years of hospital operator or answering service representative experience is required. Previous lead or coordinator experience is preferred. Professional knowledge of educational theories and principles for adult learning preferred.
EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:
High School diploma or equivalent is required. Associates degree or higher in education, health sciences, or a related field is preferred.
