Overview And Essential Job Functions

The Business Analyst on the PMO team will be responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the project management domain. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of business operations within the tech and healthcare industries.

  • Conduct thorough analysis of business processes and systems within the PMO team to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements specific to project management in healthcare
  • Develop and present detailed business cases and project proposals to drive operational excellence
  • Work closely with IT and development teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions and make necessary adjustments
  • Prepare and deliver reports, presentations, and documentation to stakeholders
  • Provide ongoing support and training to users on new systems and processes
  • Performs other work-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role within the tech industry, preferably with a focus on project management in healthcare Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in business analysis tools and software Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of industry standards and best practices PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field Experience with project management methodologies. PMP certification preferred Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools. Lucidchart experience is a plus Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies Experience working with cross-functional teams in a tech and healthcare environment Acumen, LLC is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer.
