Contract: Fixed-term contract (1 year, with the possibility of extension), term time only (39 weeks per year)
Salary: S18 (£25,257) – S22 (£27,995)
The Role
Kensington Aldridge Academy has a large vibrant SEN department with a Director of Inclusion, 4 SENCOs and a Deputy SENCO in the Management Team. In addition, there are 30 staff working at various levels of expertise as Senior HLTAs, HLTAs and Learning Support Assistants.
It is a friendly and dynamic environment to work in with multiple demands on time and resources that all have to be managed effectively. The quality of the support that the school provides along with the resources that are utilised are all dependent on good administration. Equally, the wellbeing of the staff group and their ability to meet multiple demands on their time are also very reliant on administrative systems and input.
The SEN Administrator will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the academy’s SEN department. The Administrator will support the development of systems and structures which will lead to the efficient and effective running of the department. In addition, the SEN Administrator will support managing a large staff group of Learning Support Assistants ensuring smooth running of employment and administration.
