Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Analysis Engineer with experience in ANSA, HYPERMESH, LS DYNA, and knowledge in seatings. The ideal candidate will have experience in CAE and physical test correlation projects, as well as the ability to create standard numbering templates for each program. An understanding of potential design constraints such as packaging and manufacturing is essential, ensuring that these are considered in the development of solutions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct baseline body strength analysis including Seat Belt Pull Analysis (FMVSS 207-210) and luggage retention (ST30).
- Perform child anchorage analysis and dynamic strength analysis (FMVSS225).
- Ensure seat system dynamic structural integrity (FMVSS208) using LS DYNA solver.
- Prepare Body-In-Prime for body strength analysis.
- Investigate output energy curves, materials, and SW/Bolt forces.
- Integrate seats using various methods such as welding, bolting, and adhesives.
- Proficiency in ANSA, HYPERMESH, and LS DYNA.
- Experience in CAE and physical test correlation projects.
- Ability to create standard numbering templates for programs.
- Understanding of design constraints like packaging and manufacturing.
- Experience in baseline body strength analysis including seat belt pull and luggage retention.
- Ability to analyze and ensure dynamic structural integrity of seat systems.
- Competence in investigating output energy curves and material forces.
Work in a dynamic engineering environment focusing on automotive design and analysis. The role requires strong technical skills in CAE software and an ability to adapt to various design constraints. The work involves collaboration with other engineers to develop innovative solutions.
