This position does require the candidate to work onsite.
- Translation and Interpretation Convert written and spoken content between Arabic and English, ensuring accuracy and cultural relevance.
- Cultural Sensitivity Understand and convey cultural nuances in translations to facilitate effective communication.
- Research Conduct research in Arabic to support translation efforts and enhance understanding of context.
- Editing and Proofreading Review translations for accuracy, grammar, and style, making necessary adjustments to improve clarity and coherence.
- Cross- Cultural Communication Assist in bridging communication gaps between Arabic-speaking individuals and English speakers in various settings, including business and government agencies.
- Language Proficiency Native or near-native proficiency in Arabic and strong command of English, with the ability to translate complex concepts accurately.
- Cultural Knowledge In-depth understanding of Arabic culture and customs to ensure culturally appropriate translations.
- Attention to Detail Strong analytical skills to ensure precision in translations and interpretations.
- Communication Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey messages clearly and effectively.
- Experience Previous experience in translation, interpretation, or linguistics is often preferred, along with relevant educational qualifications in linguistics or a related field.
