The purpose of the Assistant Director Financial Aid position is to ensure efficient and effective delivery of financial aid to all eligible students. The position is responsible for the daily operations, training and supervision of the campus staff involved in the awarding and delivery of financial aid. The delivery includes but is not limited to the development, maintenance and assessment of all financial aid computerized systems while providing financial assistance and excellent customer service to all students. The Assistant Director of Campuses ensures excellent quality service to students and staff, consistency of information to all staff, training and outreach efforts to the community. The Assistant Director monitors staff work and handles any student staff complaints from the campuses. Also handles and monitors phone coverage, email inquiries and delegates work to staff accordingly.
Minimum Education:
Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum Experience/Training:
Five years of experience in financial aid processing, with three years in a supervisory or lead (leading projects, processes and staff) capacity required.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
