Job Title: Assistant Purchasing Agent

About the Role:

Goldfarb Properties is seeking a highly organized Assistant Purchasing Agent to support day-to-day procurement across our real estate portfolio. This role will focus on creating and managing purchase orders, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring timely delivery of materials for building operations and renovation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Input and manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders within the system
  • Coordinate directly with property managers and building staff on purchasing needs
  • Communicate with vendors to source pricing, availability, and lead times
  • Place and track orders for building supplies, maintenance items, and renovation materials
  • Ensure timely delivery and resolve any order discrepancies
  • Maintain organized records of all purchasing activity and invoices
  • Assist in identifying cost efficiencies and vendor alternatives


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of purchasing, procurement, or administrative experience
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple orders simultaneously
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Experience with Yardi is a strong plus
  • Real estate, property management, or construction experience preferred


Compensation & Benefits:
