Job Summary

The Performance & Rewards function in SGX Group has an overall responsibility for designing and delivering SGX Group’s global compensation and benefits strategy. This role reports to the VP or Head, Performance & Rewards and the mandate spans across all geographies and units within SGX, ensuring competitive and compliant reward practices that attract, motivate, and retain talent.


A 3-person team with responsibility for oversight of compensation programs, benefits administration, performance management processes, and incentive plans across SGX’s global footprint. This team further drives the development, implementation, and governance of SGX’s rewards philosophy and policies. It ensures market competitiveness, internal equity, and compliance with regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions. Key activities include annual compensation reviews, benchmarking, long-term incentive administration, benefits review, and analytics to support strategic workforce decisions.


The role requires an individual with strong analytical capability, advanced Excel proficiency, and excellent organizational skills to manage complex processes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Job Responsibilities

Compensation Strategy & Benchmarking

• Conduct market research, job matching, and compensation benchmarking to maintain competitive pay structures.

• Support annual compensation review covering salary increments, promotions, short-term and long-term incentives.

• Consolidate and review recommendations for approval; manage communication and execution of awards.

Incentives & Benefits Administration

• Administer long-term incentive plans, including award, vesting, disclosure, and reporting.

• Review and update employee benefits to ensure competitiveness and compliance with local legislation.

• Design and benchmark global reward programs, ensuring compliance with labor laws and tax regulations.

Performance Management

• Manage end-to-end performance management cycle: year-end review, calibration, and rating finalization.

• Ensure process integrity and alignment with SGX objectives.

Analytics & Insights

• Prepare monthly manpower reports and develop HR dashboards to provide actionable business insights.

• Evaluate ROI of reward programs and recommend enhancements based on data-driven analysis.

Budgeting & Workforce Planning

• Manage annual budget cycle and workforce planning process in collaboration with Finance and the broader HR team.

Projects & Governance

• Lead or participate in Performance & Rewards projects and initiatives to enhance processes and systems.

• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.


Job Requirements

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in Compensation & Benefits, with exposure to multi-geography management.

• Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with SAP SuccessFactors preferred.

• Accountable, Innovative and focused on making a difference. The person will need to be detail-oriented, resourceful, and able to operate with urgency in a fast-paced environment.

• Financial industry experience is a plus.
