Business Support Manager - East Midlands and Norfolk


Location: East Midlands and Norfolk

Contract: Field-basedS

alary: Up to £43,000 DOE

Hours: 37.5 hrs/week

CPD: CPD supported


The Opportunity

Make a real difference across a group of practices. Coach, develop and inspire colleagues at every level — including delivery on our flagship leadership programmes.


This is more than a training role. As part of our Business Support team, you'll work alongside Business Development Directors and Practice Management teams to develop people, strengthen practices, and lead meaningful change across your region.


You'll also play a central role in delivering our group-wide leadership programmes — including Senior Leaders, Developing Leaders and others — helping to build the next generation of veterinary leaders across VetPartners.


We'll invest in you from day one: comprehensive training, coaching from experienced colleagues, and the support you need to thrive in the role.


What You'll Be Doing

  • Collaborative projects – Partner with BDDs and Practice Managers on people and practice development initiatives.
  • Leadership programme delivery – Facilitate and deliver Senior Leaders, Developing Leaders and central L&D programmes.
  • Supporting continuous improvement – Identify opportunities for improvement and support practices through change.
  • Coaching & mentoring – Build confidence, capability in individuals and practice teams.

What We're Looking For


Essential

  • Experience working within veterinary practice — clinical or management background
  • Proven track record in leadership development and coaching
  • Experience delivering engaging training to diverse audiences
  • Confident facilitating group sessions and presenting at all levels
  • Strong project coordination and communication skills
  • Based within and able to travel regularly across the East Midlands & Norfolk


Would Strengthen Your Application

  • Leadership qualification (e.g. ILM, VBM)Experience implementing organisational change
  • Familiarity with learning design frameworks
  • Experience working across a multi-site or regional remit

We Offer a Competitive Package to Include

  • A 37.5 hour working week, and 6.6 weeks holiday including Bank Holiday - with the facility to buy up to 10 days, or sell 5 days, holiday
