Seneca Foods in Cambria, Wisconsin is currently seeking an Electrician to join our team.
A qualified Electrician that is responsible for all plant Electrical Maintenance including repairs, installation and fabrication. The electrician maintains, installs, rebuilds, and repairs equipment per specifications and required electrical codes. They would also troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring, PLC’s, controllers, lighting controls, and electrical motors in a food processing environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintains, installs, rebuilds, and repairs equipment per specifications.
- Trouble shoot and repair electrical wiring, PLC's, controllers, lighting controls, and electrical motors in a production environment.
- Analyzes electrical breakdowns
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems
- Stay current on electrical codes and OSHA regulations.
- Consult with Supervision on needed repairs
- Maintains general housekeeping.
- Good working knowledge of electronics, programmable logic controllers and their applications.
- Ensure that GMP’s (General manufacturing Practices), safety rules and regulations are being followed and enforced
- Other duties assigned
- Must have good attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong maintenance skills
- Willingness and ability to work and function in a team environment
- Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally
- Ability to work with all levels of the organization
- One to Two year vocational certificate.
