CELINA is seeking a high-performing Outside Sales Representative – Government to expand our presence across federal agencies and organizations throughout the Washington, D.C. and Northern Virginia region. This role is ideal for a professional who understands federal/military culture, government procurement, and relationship-based selling.

You will serve as the face of CELINA to Federal agencies, program offices, contracting teams, and government stakeholders, helping deliver mission-critical shelter systems, deployable infrastructure, and support solutions to those who serve.

What You'll Do

• Develop and strengthen relationships with military units, federal agencies, program managers, contracting personnel, and key decision-makers.
• Conduct on-site visits, product demonstrations, field evaluations, and customer training events.
• Identify opportunities, qualify customer needs, and build a strong sales pipeline.
• Guide customers through government procurement processes and contract vehicles.
• Collaborate with Inside Sales and leadership teams to develop proposals and close opportunities.
• Support trade shows, military exercises, industry events, and customer demonstrations.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and opportunity plans.
• Align CELINA solutions with unit mission requirements.
• Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and upcoming procurement opportunities.
• Build relationships with prime contractors, channel partners, and government stakeholders.
• Travel up to 50%, as required
  
  
  

Required Qualifications

What We're Looking For

• Experience working with military organizations, federal agencies, or government procurement environments.
• Strong presentation and relationship-building skills.
• Understanding of government acquisition processes and contract vehicles.
• Valid drivers’ license and ability to travel extensively (primarily domestically).
• Eligible to obtain and maintain military installation access.
  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree
• Military service, defense contracting, or federal sales experience.
• Existing relationships within Department of War, military services, or federal agencies.
• Experience selling manufactured products, shelters, infrastructure systems, or mission-support equipment.

Location

This position is based in the Washington, D.C. / Northern Virginia area and requires frequent travel to military installations, government facilities, customer locations, trade shows, and training events throughout the territory.
