Contemporary dance combines elements of ballet, modern, and jazz with a strong emphasis on improvisation, floorwork, and emotional expression. Students learn release technique, contraction/release, partnering, and choreography rooted in choreographers like Graham, Cunningham, and Forsythe. Our Contemporary Dance classes in Dubai serve ages 8+, online or at our Karama studio.
We are launching Contemporary at Melody Makers and you would be the founding teacher for it. Melody Makers is a Trinity College London registered music and fine arts school, established in Dubai in 1997, now expanding its online faculty worldwide. This is a part-time contractor role: teach online from anywhere, with optional in-person classes at our Al Karama studio in Dubai.
What you will do
- Teach weekly group and 1-on-1 classes, online or at our Dubai studio
- Build progressive lesson plans covering technique, conditioning and choreography
- Choreograph and rehearse pieces for our annual recitals and Dubai cultural events
- Track attendance and student progress in our scheduling tools
- Prepare students for graded examinations where applicable
- Students supplied: we handle marketing, SEO, ads and free trials — you teach, we fill your calendar
- Monthly payouts in AED, USD or USDT — no chasing parents for fees
- Registered Trinity College London exam centre + ABGMVM grades for your students
- Modern scheduling tools: classroom links, attendance, rescheduling, automated reminders
- A multinational faculty of 20+ teachers, established in Dubai since 1997

MUSIC CLASSES
Piano classes, keyboard classes, acoustic guitar classes, classical guitar classes, electric guitar classes, bass guitar classes, drums and percussion classes, violin classes, singing and vocal training, and music theory classes. All levels from complete beginner to advanced. Available in-studio and online worldwide.
DANCE CLASSES
Bharatanatyam classes, Kathak classes, Bollywood dance classes, Western dance classes, Salsa classes, and Garba classes. Traditional Indian classical dance training alongside contemporary and social dance styles.
ART CLASSES

EXAM PREPARATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
Registered Exam Centre of Trinity College London. Certified Centre of ABGMVM (Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal). We prepare students for Trinity graded music exams, Trinity Rock and Pop exams, ABRSM music exams, and ABGMVM dance certifications. Students can also learn without pursuing formal exams.
