What does the job look like?

Linfox's Intermodal business unit have an exciting full-time permanent opportunity for a Customer Engagement Manager to join our team in West Melbourne. You will play a key role in shaping the future growth of Linfox Intermodal by unlocking strategic business opportunities. You’ll take the lead on high-profile tenders end-to-end, whilst partnering with internal stakeholders to strengthen customer relationships, unlock opportunities and deliver impactful, data-driven solutions. K ey areas:

  • Identify and develop growth opportunities across both new and existing customer portfolios
  • Lead end-to-end tender and bid processes, ensuring delivery against key milestones
  • Deliver high-quality submissions including data analysis, operational solutions and commercial proposals
  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to support bid development and execution
  • Support new customer implementations to ensure a seamless onboarding experience
  • Manage pipeline and maintain bid resources to inform future opportunities


Are you the one?

You bring a proven background in logistics or supply chain, with the ability to drive growth through new business and strengthening existing customer partnerships. You’re commercially minded, highly collaborative and thrive on delivering winning solutions. You can demonstrate:

  • 5–10 years’ experience in a complex logistics or supply chain environment
  • Proven success leading tenders and end-to-end bid processes to achieve commercial outcomes
  • Strong commercial acumen with understanding of cost-to-serve and operational impacts on financials
  • Ability to influence and engage internal and external stakeholders across operations, safety and commercial teams
  • Advanced proposal writing capability and ability to translate data into compelling customer solutions
  • Knowledge of the Intermodal industry and established customer or stakeholder networks
