The Role
The Role
- Responsible for the stable operation, administration, and continuous development of Big Data and BI platforms.
- Design and maintain data models and ETL/ELT processes to reliably supply BI applications and reporting structures.
- Develop scalable backends for dashboards and data products for internal and external clients.
- Integrate AI components into the platform and ensure their stable operation in a production environment.
- Administer the BI tool landscape and collaborate directly with analysts to integrate new data sources and implement data quality rules.
- Conduct proof-of-concept analyses for new technologies.
- Successfully completed studies in computer science, mathematics, business informatics, or an equivalent qualification.
- Solid programming skills in Go and Python.
- Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines and in database environments (SQL and/or NoSQL).
- Profound experience in operating data pipelines and data modeling (ETL/ELT, dimensional models).
- Proficient in using Git in a team context and strong Linux knowledge.
- Practical experience with Kubernetes and BI tools, including their technical integration into a data platform.
- Basic understanding of AI methods (classical ML and LLMs).
- Excellent German and English language skills.
