Primary Function

The Director of Laboratory Services supports the Vice President of Laboratory Services in overseeing daily operations and advancing clinical, business, and technical initiatives across CNE’s Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. They contribute to tactical and strategic planning, ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards, and provide operational problem resolution and system support across departments and vendors. The Director leads a designated laboratory section, providing scientific and technical oversight while managing staff, equipment, supplies, and the section’s financial budget.

Qualifications And Specifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Required; Master's Degree Preferred
  • Field of study: biological, chemical, physical or clinical laboratory science
  • Minimum 5 to 7 Years of lab management experience
  • Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist by a nationally recognized certifying agency
