Position Title: Director of Marketing Operations
Business Unit: Marketing
Reports to: Chief Communications and Marketing Officer
Position Overview:
The Director of Marketing Operations is responsible for building, optimizing, and governing the processes, platforms, data, and capabilities that enable effective, compliant, and scalable marketing execution across the enterprise. This role ensures operational excellence across marketing technology, workflow, budgeting, analytics, and vendor management, while partnering closely with marketing leadership, finance, risk, compliance, and lines of business to drive efficiency, transparency, and measurable performance.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead and optimize marketing operations, including intake, workflow, prioritization, and resource management to support enterprise marketing initiatives.
Have an ownership role in the marketing technology stack (including marketing automation, campaign management, merchandising, community relations systems and internal design tools), ensuring effective utilization, integration, and governance.
Manage the marketing budget process, including forecasting, tracking, accruals, and reconciliation in partnership with Finance.
Develop and enforce marketing processes, standards, documentation, and controls to ensure regulatory compliance and risk management.
Oversee vendor and partner operations, including onboarding, contracts, performance management, and cost optimization.
Partner with marketing leadership and lines of business to improve campaign planning, execution quality, and speed to market.
Lead, mentor, and develop marketing operations staff, fostering continuous improvement and operational discipline.
Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
