Line Leads assist Supervisors in the coordination and management of department activities to meet daily production goals.
Shift: Monday-Thursday 5am-3:30pm
Pay: 21.50-22.00/hr
Primary Duties
- Review daily production schedule and ensure demands are met through proper scheduling of work
- Provide leadership, communication and work direction for employees by assigning work and participating in workload where needed
- Provide training to new and existing employees as needed
- Periodically review the work of line employees to ensure adherence to quality standards and work instructions
- Periodically check and ensure line employees have adequate supplies to perform job
- Ensure employees are aware of and provided with proper protective equipment and trained on chemical use and emergency exits in the department.
- Responsible for compliance and adherence of safety policies and procedures
- Inform Supervisors/Plant Manager of any department or employee issues; provide recommendations
- Contact OES/Maintenance to resolve equipment issues
- Enter data into and review information in CMS and Training Manager as needed
- Participate in various improvement activities
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related duties that may be outside of assigned priorities.
