Description:

As the Ecommerce Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the merchandising and day-to-day management of the Dymocks website. You will help deliver an optimised customer experience through accurate campaign execution, effective onsite merchandising, and the application of customer and performance insights to drive online sales.

Key Responsibilities in this role include:

  • Owning the updates of the website content and onsite merchandising.
  • Coordinating campaign execution including product updates and campaign asset set up.
  • Collaborating with Marketing & Merchandising to maintain key categories, featured products and promotional placements accurately.
  • Maintain website quality by regularly reviewing links and page functionality to ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Finding opportunities to increase exposure and performance of key categories.
  • Analysing website performance and customer behaviour to support optimisation of conversion, engagement and online sales.
  • Staying up to date with competitor activity and industry trends to identify best practices in ecommerce and onsite merchandising.
  • Utilising search data to create extra exposure of trending terms and improve online conversion.
  • Support testing of website updates and new features.


Skills and Experiences:

The successful candidate will have:

  • Strong attention to detail and collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new systems and technologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Experience working in a content management system (CMS)
  • Experience using Google Analytics
  • Positive and proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
  • Previous experience in ecommerce, digital marketing, or merchandising role.
  • Previous experience in books or publishing industry is preferred
