
FanDuel, part of the Flutter family and a leader in the US sports betting market, is expanding, and we’re looking for someone who brings curiosity, empathy, and a passion for sport to join our growing Risk team.
The Role
As a Risk Executive, you’ll be part of a warm, supportive team that manages betting activity across 27 states. Your day-to-day will include monitoring live markets, understanding customer behaviours, and helping balance risk with an exceptional customer experience.
Because our markets move quickly, this is a high-energy, fast-paced environment where you’ll be empowered to make timely, well-judged decisions that support both risk and customer outcomes.
This is a role where learning is encouraged and onboarding is intentionally thorough so you can gain confidence at your own pace. You’ll start with close guidance and, as your foundation grows, you’ll have opportunities to influence projects, shape processes, and contribute to meaningful analysis.
What You’ll Do
- Analyse betting patterns and customer activity with care and attention
- Support liability management and respond thoughtfully to alerts
- Contribute to customer profiling and segmentation
- Report on performance, errors, and areas for improvement
- Build strong relationships with teammates and global partners
- Help enhance processes, optimise decisions, and protect the brand
- In time, mentor others and contribute to larger initiatives

Industry or betting experience is valued (especially across sports like NFL, baseball, or college basketball), but we also welcome graduates or early-career applicants with the right mindset and passion.
Work Environment
To set you up for success, your first few months will be based full-time in our Melbourne office, with structured support and hands-on learning. After onboarding, weekend rotation (around 50%) becomes part of the rhythm.
