MAKATI DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ayala Land, Inc., the leading real estate development company in the Philippines.
In 1950, MDC was the construction division of Ayala Corporation, the company that developed Makati into a premier financial and commercial district. It was in 1974, after the transformation of Makati, that MDC was formally incorporated and engaged in subdivision development and government’s highways construction activities as a separate and independent entity.
As Ayala Land's construction arm, Makati Development Corporation (MDC) plays a vital role in providing the company with a unique advantage for all its business lines and in giving its external customers the best product value in terms of timely-delivery, high-quality standards, and competitive cost. Recognized as the best in the industry, it is the first and only construction company in the Philippines to simultaneously be awarded the ISO Integrated Management System certification.
MDC’s track record includes: residential and commercial development, industrial estate development, building and industrial construction, government infrastructure (highways and bridges), water supply and waste water projects, engineering design and related technical services for horizontal development, equipment operations, ready-mixed concrete and precast products.
Our team of construction professionals offers a single source solution for all of your construction related needs. The wide range of expertise is MDC’s imprint on human resource development. MDC is committed to develop its people by facilitating and assisting them in career development.
Being in the construction business for four decades now, MDC is considered to be one of the more respected and sought-after construction companies in the Philippines. Through the years, the management together with its experts and skilled workers has been able to nurture the seed of growth that has put MDC where it is today.
