The

County of Yuba is currently recruiting for the position of**Fiscal Analyst**in the Health and Human Services Department.Under general supervision, performs a variety of difficult and complex professional level analytical work to support the operations of County departments, agencies and programs in areas such as the development and administration of the annual budget, financial/fiscal analysis and reporting, grant monitoring and administration; and performs other duties as assigned.

  • Knowledgeable in grant management, including compliance, tracking, and administration

  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Communicates complex financial information clearly to diverse audiences
  • Proficient in prioritizing tasks and managing competing deadlines
  • Adaptable and responsive to evolving organizational needs and assignments

: Education and Experience:

MINIMUM: Equivalent to Bachelors degree from an accredited college with major course work in accounting, business or public administration, economics, finance, statistics, or related field and two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in the maintenance and review of accounting, financial, or fiscal records equivalent to the Countys class of Accounting Technician. Relevant financial experience may be substituted for up to two years of the required education on a year for year basis.

PREFERRED:In addition to the minimum, additional years of experience as defined above in a public agency.

Licenses And Certification

  • The ability to obtain a valid California Class C driver's license within ten (10) days of employment; may be required to maintain throughout employment.

Special Requirements

  • Must successfully complete an extensive and thorough background investigation which may include Live Scan fingerprinting and/or credit check prior to hire.
  • Will be required to perform disaster service activities pursuant to Government Code 3100-3109.
