Description

TThe Radcliff Veteran Center is a skilled nursing facility that cares for the Commonwealth of Kentucky’s Veterans. Our mission is to Serve Kentucky’s Veterans by fostering independence, preserving dignity and providing compassionate care.

The Fiscal Manager position is responsible for supervising and directing the administration of the financial business affairs for the Radcliff Veterans Center’s.

Responsibilities May Include, But Are Not Limited To

  • Prepares financial and statistical reports on the operations of the facility including periodic financial statements.
  • Prepares financial statements for center residents.
  • Prepares end of year reports and other mandatory reports for facility and provides documentation.
  • Preparation and processing of billing.
  • Determining payer source and processing batches within billing software.
  • Processes payments with Medicare/Medicaid, inputs data, runs reports and audits for errors, mails statements and performs collection functions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

EDUCATION: Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, public administration or a related field.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Two years of professional accounting, business administration, public administration, or related experience.

Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: Graduate study in one of the above or related fields will substitute for the experience on a year-for-year basis.

Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: Additional experience in one of the above or related fields will substitute for the education on a year-for- year basis.

Incumbents working in this job title typically perform work in an office setting.

Probationary Period

This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
