The Fasteners Buyer will be responsible for negotiating and buying components in support of the Chassis and Adaption Global Purchasing organization. The duties include management of the sourcing process, developing and implementing creative solutions to complex challenges, capacity and cost management, and PO/ contract administration. This includes but is not limited to selecting suppliers, placing purchase orders, managing complex contracts, interfacing with internal and external customers, managing key Tier 1 and Tier 2 supplier relationships, and developing strategies.

The ideal candidate must have: the ability to coordinate activities with other departments and resolve conflicts; must lead a cross functional team with "One Voice" to suppliers; and develop and manage key supplier relationships while maximizing suppliers' ability to deliver quality product on time.

Additionally, the candidate will be responsibilities for developing and/or assisting in the development of strategies and solutions to continuously improve costs and capacity. Global understanding of supplier capabilities and Stellantis global commodity strategy development is required and ability to travel will be necessary at times.

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance from or equivalent; Other technical degrees with business background also considered

3 years of purchasing or closely related relevant experience

Negotiation and/or exposure to sourcing/project management processes

Organized, self-motivated, capable of managing conflict and resourceful managing complex assignments

Strong communication skills and are highly customer focused

Able to effectively lead cross-functional teams

Upper-intermediate MS Office Suite

Fluent in English
