Role snapshot
- Title: Industrial Controls Electrician
- Schedule: Day shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
- Core requirement: PLC programming experience is required
- Diagnose and repair electrical systems for automated equipment: PLCs, drives, motors, sensors, control panels
- Execute preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize unplanned downtime
- Install and service industrial wiring, 480V 3‑phase power distribution, and control circuits
- Interpret and work from electrical schematics, blueprints, and OEM manuals
- Respond rapidly to production issues; conduct root‑cause analysis and implement fixes
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, NEC, and internal safety standards
- Advance reliability through continuous improvement and equipment upgrades
- Document all work in CMMS/maintenance tracking systems
- Support plant utilities as needed, including HVAC, air compressors, and other facility systems
- 10+ years in manufacturing maintenance with strong hands‑on electrical expertise
- Deep knowledge of industrial power (preferably 480V, 3‑phase)
- Proficiency programming and troubleshooting PLCs (Allen‑Bradley preferred), VFDs, and automated cells
- Fluency reading electrical and mechanical drawings
- Mechanical aptitude in hydraulics, pneumatics, and general industrial maintenance
- Self‑direction, urgency, and strong problem‑solving skills
- Technical degree/certification in Industrial Maintenance or Electrical Technology
- Background in plastics—especially injection or blow molding
- Experience in Lean/continuous improvement environments
- Programmable Logic Controllers (Allen‑Bradley)
- Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience
- $1,500 sign‑on bonus: $500 at 3 months, $500 at 6 months, $500 at 1 year
