Hardware Security Engineer

You’ll research complex electronic and cyber-physical systems, identify potential vulnerabilities, and develop proof-of-concept solutions that help solve challenging security problems. This is a hands-on role where you’ll combine technical expertise with creativity to understand how systems work and how they can be secured.
What you’ll do
- Research and analyse hardware and embedded systems
- Identify hardware and cyber-physical security vulnerabilities
- Design and build proof-of-concept prototypes and demonstrators
- Debug hardware using tools such as JTAG, UART, SWD, oscilloscopes, and logic analysers
- Reverse engineer hardware and firmware where required
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative security solutions
- Present technical findings and recommendations to stakeholders
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related discipline
- Experience with electronics, embedded systems, or hardware development
- Hands-on experience debugging hardware and building prototypes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
