***THE ROLE***

An independent recording artist based in Los Angeles is looking for a Brand & Social Media Strategist to own her digital presence across platforms - and eventually lead a small team doing the same.

This is not a posting for someone who needs direction. It's a posting for someone who sees a gap and fills it before being asked.

You'll be responsible for managing and growing presence across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Reddit - multiple accounts, multiple content types, one cohesive vision. You'll take an existing artistic identity and translate it into strategy, content calendars, and real execution. You will not be handed a playbook. You will help build one.

***U R THE RIGHT PERSON IF***

You listened to Mitski before she was everywhere. You understood Remi Wolf before she made sense to everyone else. You don't just consume culture - you see where it's going before it gets there.

You've managed social accounts in the music or entertainment space and you have results to show for it. Not follower counts. Results - streams, growth, engagement that moved something.

You work inside systems - Asana, organized Google Drive, content review processes - and you don't fight them. You improve them quietly and keep moving.

You communicate in conclusions, not questions. When you don't know something, you try first.

You are humble enough to learn someone else's vision and confident enough to execute it without approval on every step.

***U R NOT THE RIGHT PERSON IF***

You need weekly check-ins to stay on track. You manage vibes instead of outcomes. You've never worked in music and think passion makes up for it. You treat "I'm a creative" as an excuse for missing deadlines.

***WHAT U WILL ACTUALLY DO***

Manage TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit - multiple accounts. Build and maintain content calendars. Execute posts, engagement, and growth strategies. Work within a content review process and own everything outside of it. Eventually manage a junior assistant. Report on what's working and what isn't - with data, not feelings.

***TOOLS WE USE***

Asana, Google Drive, Meta Business Suite, later or equivalent scheduling tools.

***WHAT THIS IS***

Freelance, part-time to start. Paid hourly. Room to grow as the project grows. You'll be working directly with the artist - no layers, no bureaucracy, fast decisions.

A hand-holding situation. A trial run for someone figuring out social media. A vibe-only role
