The Role
Lead our Indigo Department operations while maintaining hands-on expertise with HP Indigo digital presses. You'll supervise a team of skilled operators while personally operating equipment to ensure consistent, high-quality production of digital heat transfers.
What You'll Do:
- Lead & Develop a team of Indigo Operators (Levels 1-3) across shifts
- Operate HP Indigo digital presses to produce premium heat transfers
- Manage daily operations including staffing, workflow, and production KPIs
- Maintain equipment through routine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Ensure safety compliance and foster our positive team culture
- Drive quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives
Required:
- HP Indigo press experience and certification (Level 3 preferred)
- 3+ years digital printing or similar production experience
- 2+ years supervisory/team leadership experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent attention to detail and color perception
- Proven ability to lead and develop team members
- Proficiency with production management software
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks throughout shift
- Lift up to 40 pounds
- Excellent vision (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception)
- Comfortable working in moderate to loud environment with moving machinery
- Competitive hourly rate: $28 - $34/hour
