Position Title: Industrial Engineering Supervisor

Salary $121,275 to $135,354 / Year

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, 40 Hours/Week

Summary of Duties: Lead and drive technical innovations in manufacturing equipment. Implement digitalization and automation equipment capital expenditures for Siemens’ Pomona Factory, while achieving calculated “pay-back” periods and saving commitments. Use internal and external resources to complete projects successfully. Connect and maintain data capture for machine performance measurement, while utilizing OEE and Opcenter. Communicate project status, participate in preparing and communicating business cases, functional plans and objectives. Lead engineers and maintenance including hiring, mentoring, and, developing skills. Help design and setup the new factory expansion project to optimize factory flow and space utilization. Establish and maintain lean/continuous improvement culture at the plant.

Qualifications: The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered, or as a Manufacturing Engineer, Industrial Engineer, or a related occupation. The position requires experience with the following skills: Calculating cost savings and pay-back period to rationalize capital expenditure; Working in large matrix organizations; Planning and delegating to team members; Working experience with technologies and processes supporting manufacturing operations; Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities that come from a dynamic manufacturing process; Lead and drive technical and innovations in manufacturing processes to increase productivity or achieve pay-back periods for capital investments; Leverage internal/external resources to complete projects; Ability to communicate project statuses in an executive level format and ask for resources; Design and setup factory expansion projects to optimize factory flow and space utilization.
