Description

Jet Aviation is looking for a Cabin Attendant based in Bedford, MA. This is an excellent opportunity to join a global leader in private aviation, where you will be responsible for ensuring the comfort and convenience of passengers on board each flight. In addition to in-flight service and catering, the role also involves handling various administrative and training functions while not flying.

Key Responsibilities

As a Cabin Attendant, you will receive guidance from the Pilot in Command for day-to-day operations and report all cabin discrepancies and maintenance issues to the pilot in command for documentation. You will coordinate with pilots, maintenance, and cleaning crews to ensure the aircraft is impeccably clean and properly serviced, and conduct a preflight check of all cabin equipment prior to each flight. On Part 91 flights only, you will ensure passengers comply with federal regulations during flight activity, brief them on the safety features of the aircraft, and assist or command the cabin in case of emergencies, including medical situations or evacuations. You will operate all emergency equipment including fire extinguishers, life rafts, oxygen equipment, and defibrillators. Additionally, you will brief and assist passengers with cabin management systems such as entertainment, high-speed data, and phone capabilities, and provide help with carry-on luggage and seating arrangements, including support for passengers with disabilities and children requiring restraint systems. You will maintain a complete and detailed working knowledge of all service equipment and procedures on your assigned aircraft, keep the cabin neat and orderly, and manage bedding and locker areas. You will coordinate and shop for interior items per the owner's request, plan and print menus and weather cards, and handle the planning, ordering, shopping, preparation, and serving of all meals and beverages. You are also responsible for developing and maintaining standard stock, sourcing vendors for cabin, lavatory, and galley supplies, and ensuring the aircraft is prepared to specifications before each flight. Additionally, you will provide client profile updates, post-trip and catering reports, maintain other required paperwork, and create and maintain an aircraft-specific manual. Managing expense accounts, attending and maintaining currency in all required training including annual recurrent safety, medical, and company Indoc training are part of the role. Other duties may be assigned as needed, and you may be required to supervise or train contract or part-time cabin crewmembers. You will represent Jet Aviation as one company both internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies, and the General Dynamics network.
