Category Head - K12

We’re Hiring: Category Head – K12 | Unacademy

At Unacademy, we’re building one of India’s most impactful learning ecosystems for school students - and we’re looking for a Category Head – K12 to help us scale this mission.

This is a high-ownership leadership role where you’ll take end-to-end responsibility for Unacademy’s K12 business - spanning strategy, growth, academic excellence, and P&L. You’ll work closely with senior leadership, educators, and cross-functional teams to drive meaningful outcomes for millions of learners across Classes 6–12.

What you’ll be responsible for

• Owning the K12 category P&L, including budgets, pricing, and growth targets
• Defining and executing go-to-market strategies for new courses and programs
• Scaling growth across acquisition, conversion, retention, and monetization
• Building and nurturing a strong educator ecosystem and ensuring academic quality
• Partnering closely with Product, Tech, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Ops
• Using data and insights to track performance, improve NPS, and guide decisions

Who we’re looking for

• 6–9 years of experience in Category Management, Business Leadership, or P&L roles
• Strong track record of scaling B2C / EdTech / consumer-tech businesses
• Experience in K12 or education-led ecosystems is a strong plus
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and stakeholder management skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset with high ownership and execution bias
