We are seeking a Service Advisor who is energized by client interaction, committed to delivering exceptional service, and eager to contribute to a planning‑centric advisory team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a relationship‑driven environment and wants to play a meaningful part in clients’ long‑term financial journeys.
This position represents a significant career opportunity: you will play a central role in transitioning and servicing an existing, well‑established book of business, building trust with clients who value high‑touch communication and continuity. You will work closely with Lead Advisors to ensure clients receive the personalized, proactive guidance our firm is known for.
What You’ll Do:
- Identify clients’ financial objectives and life goals
- Develop and present financial plans and investment recommendations
- Continuously monitor and update plans and portfolios as clients’ needs change
- Oversee creation of client deliverables and ensure deadlines are met
- Document all client communications and meeting outcomes
- Track and complete client requests and follow‑up tasks, partnering with Client Services
- Deliver an exceptional client experience
- Develop tailored client relationship strategies
- Build strong relationships by understanding each client’s unique situation
- Communicate clearly with clients across all channels (virtual, in-person, phone, email)
- Explain financial concepts in an accessible, customized manner
- Support prospect engagement, relationship building, and onboarding
- Deepen existing client relationships, including consolidation of outside assets
- Deliver service that inspires client referrals
- Model exemplary client service, teamwork, and positive change
- Contribute to advancing long‑term company goals and initiatives
- Collaborate effectively across teams with clear expectations and constructive feedback
- Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with firm policies and regulatory standards
- Four-year college degree, or equivalent work experience
- CFP® designation required, Series 65 or 66 required
- Ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in financial planning, wealth management, or financial services
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Zoom)
- Experience with financial planning software (eMoney preferred)
- Familiarity with CRM systems
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Ability to work out of our Fairfield, NJ office with potential for flexible hybrid schedule
