Job Description
As a Legal Manager, your main responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring compliance with legal regulations and company policies within the financial services industry.
- Providing legal advice and support to various departments to facilitate business operations.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and agreements relevant to the business.
- Managing legal risks and implementing risk mitigation strategies effectively.
- Representing the company in legal proceedings and liaising with external legal counsel when needed.
- Monitoring changes in laws and regulations that impact the business in Vietnam.
- Ensuring proper documentation and record-keeping of legal matters.
- Conducting training sessions to promote legal awareness within the organization.
A Successful Legal Manager Should Have
- A degree in Law or a relevant legal qualification.
- Strong knowledge of legal regulations and practices, particularly in the financial services industry or law firms.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in drafting and negotiating contracts and agreements.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with internal and external stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to identifying and mitigating legal risks.
