tma is hiring: Legal Recruiter
Location: Sandton, Durban, Cape Town or Kenya
Work Setup: 100% office based
Shift: Night Shift | Australia Hours | 12am to 9am
Please note working hours may change in line with daylight savings time zones.
Salary: R15 000 to R20 000 depending on experience and overall fit for the role.
We are looking for a highly driven, energetic, and adaptable Legal Recruiter to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced recruitment environment, enjoys engaging with people, and has strong candidate assessment abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Source, engage, and assess legal professionals across various levels and practice areas
• Conduct detailed candidate screenings and interviews
• Critically evaluate candidates and ask probing, insightful questions
• Manage multiple vacancies and recruitment processes simultaneously
• Build and maintain strong candidate relationships
• Deliver a high standard of communication and candidate experience
• Maintain accurate recruitment records and activity tracking
What We Are Looking For:
• Previous recruitment or talent acquisition experience
• Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities
• Agency recruitment experience is advantageous
Legal industry recruitment experience or exposure to legal/accounting terminology will be beneficial but is not essential.
