About The Role

We’re looking for an Associate, Licensing to join our Vehicle & Driver Compliance team. In this role, you will be the primary owner of registration transactions for assigned states, ensuring vehicle registrations are completed accurately and efficiently while maintaining the legality of vehicle plates. You will collaborate with internal teams, clients, vendors, and government agencies to resolve registration-related issues and deliver an industry-leading customer experience. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Facilitate registration transactions for processing, including buy lease backs, ownership transfers, and title corrections.
  • Follow processing procedures appropriate for each transaction type.
  • Maintain accurate records of electronic registrations and process daily Service Cloud cases to meet SLAs.
  • Identify and resolve errors prior to submission and escalate requests requiring specialized knowledge when appropriate.
  • Assist internal departments with troubleshooting and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve department goals.
  • Establish and manage relationships with ministries, brokers, dealers, and other independent agencies to facilitate registration transactions.
  • Communicate with clients, vendors, and departments of motor vehicles via phone and email to research title locations and provide registration updates.
  • Partner with Operations and Client Business Units to provide guidance, education, and updates throughout the title and registration process.
  • Assist with registration mailings, initial vehicle registrations, and other duties as assigned during peak periods.

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2 years of professional experience in an office environment or equivalent work experience.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a customer service professional role.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, collaborate within a team, and deliver excellent customer service.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Automotive industry experience highly desired.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to focus on details and demonstrate initiative.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to report to the office on regularly scheduled days and hours.

Location: Currently in Mississauga. Our Mississauga office will move to 1 Adelaide in Toronto in September 2026.

Compensation

The hiring base salary range for this position is $51,800 - $71,200 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
