The ideal candidate is an editor at heart, with a deep knowledge of current video editing trends and platform-native formats. You’ll collaborate with creative, social, and brand teams to deliver content that engages fans, elevates campaigns, and highlights the Rams’ presence in the community.
Job Responsibilities:
- Brand & Social Editing – Lead or support editing of brand campaigns, social-first content, and select game presentation pieces with a sharp eye for storytelling and brand consistency.
- Social-First Storytelling – Tailor edits for specific platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, etc.), optimizing for performance and fan engagement while keeping the Rams’ voice at the forefront.
- Creative Vision – Shape narrative and emotional impact through editing choices, ensuring every piece connects and resonates.
- Cross-Team Collaboration – Partner with Brand leadership, Social, and other video producers to bring campaigns from concept to final cut.
- Trend Awareness – Stay ahead of evolving editing styles, cultural trends, and platform best practices to keep Rams Studios at the cutting edge.
- Production Support – Assist with gear prep, organization, set ups, rentals, and light troubleshooting when needed.
- Create and execute new feature segment ideas for social and web
- Other duties as assigned
- 5+ years of experience in video editing, branded content, or creative production (agency or brand experience strongly preferred).
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; working knowledge of DaVinci Resolve for color; After Effects or motion design skills a plus.
- Proven ability to craft brand oriented social-first content and adapt storytelling across multiple platforms.
- Strong grasp of editorial pacing, music, and emotional impact in branded video.
- Comfortable with occasional on-location shoots (camera operation experience helpful but not primary).
- Passion for sports, culture, and storytelling through video.
