Job Description
Role: StarLIMS Developer
Location : Office/Remote: Remote
Duration: 6 to 12 months
Rate : $75 to $80 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
Development and Configuration:
- Design, develop, and configure StarLIMS applications and modules.
- Customize StarLIMS to meet specific laboratory requirements.
- Develop and maintain scripts, reports, and workflows within StarLIMS.
System Support:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for StarLIMS users.
- Monitor system performance and implement improvements.
- Collaboration and Training:
- Work with laboratory staff to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Collaborate with IT and QA teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in StarLIMS v11 development and support.
- Experience in laboratory environments and understanding of laboratory workflows.
Technical Qualifications:
- Programming Languages:
- Proficiency in StarLIMS Scripting Language
- Proficiency in JavaScript, SQL, and other relevant programming languages.
- Experience with .NET framework and C# is a plus.
- Database Management:
- Strong knowledge of database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server).
- Experience in writing and optimizing SQL queries.
- System Integration:
- Experience with integrating StarLIMS with other laboratory instruments and systems.
