Job Description
Mandatory Qualification Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large-scale software system.Provide Application Development support for current PeopleSoft SLMS and suggested enhancements as part of the projects above.Provide a list of the day-to-day tasks to be performed by the Selected Candidate:This position will provide the following PeopleSoft Application and Architect support:
- Research, Document and Guide the PeopleSoft Application Development team based on PeopleSoft best practices for implementing the application enhancements.
- Provide technical direction to meet business needs
- Work with other agencies and technical support teams in pursuit of technically excellent solutions
- Produce technically excellent solutions architecture that is aligned to business needs and direction
- Research, resolve, and test configurations
- Support the proposed Peoplesoft enhancement project as required
- Report out any roadblocks or technology gaps to Project Management in trying to fit all current state functionality in the new to-be design
- 84+ Months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.Provide a detailed description of how the Candidate meets the Mandatory Qualification. - 84 months experience writing Bash and Korn Shell scripting code to meet project requirements.Provide a detailed description of how the Candidate meets the Requested Qualification. - 84 months experience with navigating and traversing Linux environments from a command line interface.Provide a detailed description of how the Candidate meets the Requested Qualification. - 72 months experience implementing batch processing solutions using Shell scripting to automate system administration tasks, data processing, and file operations (such as: file manipulation, printing and emailing).Provide a detailed description of how the Candidate meets the Requested Qualification. - 72 months experience in conducting requirement analysis and strategic analysis to drive the design, development, testing, and implementation of batch processes.Provide a detailed description of how the Candidate meets the Requested Qualification. - 60 months experience in leading small development teams in an agile project environment.Provide a detailed description of how the Candidate meets the Requested Qualification.
