Role Description This full-time, on-site Safety & Compliance Manager role is based in the Little Rock Metropolitan Area. The Safety & Compliance Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining safety and regulatory compliance programs across warehouse, transportation, and office operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting facility inspections, identifying and mitigating hazards, and ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations. The role oversees incident and accident investigations, tracks corrective actions, and maintains required safety documentation and reports. This position also designs and delivers safety training, partners with operations leaders to promote a strong safety culture, supports audits and regulatory visits, and works cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement in Environment Health and Safety (EHS) performance.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in regulatory and safety compliance, including Regulatory Compliance and Safety Compliance in distribution, logistics, or manufacturing environments.
- Strong background in Environment Health and Safety (EHS), with experience developing and managing EHS programs, policies, and metrics.
- Experience designing and delivering Training programs on safety practices, procedures, and regulatory requirements for diverse employee groups.
- Proficiency in Accident Investigation, including root-cause analysis, incident reporting, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Knowledge of OSHA and other relevant federal, state, and local safety regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills, with the ability to partner effectively with frontline teams and leadership.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
- Previous experience in foodservice distribution, transportation, warehousing, or a similar operational setting is preferred.
- Knowlegde of DOT regulations and requirements a plus

- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Relevant safety certifications (e.g., CSP, CHST, OSHA certifications) are a plus.
