Your impact

We are seeking an experienced Telecommunications Engineer to join our Project Delivery team supporting mission-critical Data Center projects. In this role, you will be responsible for the design and delivery of low-voltage telecommunications and ICT systems, ensuring high-quality engineering solutions that meet client requirements, industry standards, and project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design telecommunications and ICT systems for data center facilities, including
    • Structured Cabling Systems
    • Network Infrastructure
    • Security Systems
    • Fire Alarm Systems
    • Audio-Visual (AV) Systems
  • Develop engineering drawings, technical specifications, and installation details.
  • Review shop drawings, technical submittals, and vendor documentation.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Conduct site inspections and support construction activities.
  • Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and technical guidance for telecommunications design solutions.

Here's what you'll need

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Licensed Electronics Engineer (ECE) preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience designing telecommunications and ICT systems for mission-critical facilities or data centers.
  • Strong knowledge of
    • BICSI Standards
    • TIA/EIA Standards
    • NFPA 72
    • Local Fire and Life Safety Codes
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit/BIM.
  • Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills.
  • Experience designing security systems, wireless networks, and fiber optic infrastructure within data center environments.
  • BICSI RCDD or equivalent certification.
  • Experience working on large-scale, multinational engineering projects.
