Overview

A bout the Role & Team

We’re looking for an experienced and driven Senior Treasury Analyst to join IDC’s Controllership team in Kuala Lumpur. This is a high-impact role at the heart of our global treasury operations — you’ll manage complex cash management activities, lead forecasting and reporting, and bring analytical rigor to decisions that keep IDC moving forward.

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee daily global cash positioning across multiple currencies and bank accounts, ensuring optimal liquidity across IDC’s international entities.
  • Lead bank relationship management across the APAC region, coordinating account structures, fee reviews, and service agreements.
  • Provide oversight over the 13-week cash flow forecasting process, delivering accurate and insightful variance analysis to senior leadership.
  • Identify and assess financial risks including foreign exchange, interest rate, and counterparty exposure; recommend and implement hedging strategies where appropriate.
  • Lead or contribute to treasury transformation initiatives including system implementations, process automation, and policy development.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 5+ years of progressive treasury experience in a corporate or multinational environment
  • Strong knowledge of cash management, FX, liquidity forecasting, and financial risk management.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial modelling and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present clearly to senior leadership.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.
