Role description

Senior Vice President – Data Intelligence (Value Realization)

About TresVista
TresVista is a global enterprise whose business model is built to deliver enduring value. TresVista combines best practices, technology enabled execution, and industry-leading talent to drive meaningful results. By integrating advisory capabilities with scalable delivery, TresVista helps clients operate smarter and grow stronger. TresVista’s services include investment diligence, industry research, valuation, fund administration, accounting, and data analytics.
About the Role
The SVP – Data Intelligence (Value Realization) owns the day-to-day delivery health of the Data Intelligence Group (DIG) on behalf of the VR Head. Reporting to the Director – Value Realization Head, this role is the dedicated Service-Line SPOC for DIG — translating the firm’s common delivery philosophy into DIG-specific operating norms, and taking direct, hands-on ownership of capacity, performance, talent, and AI adoption for the pool.
Where the VR Head sets the delivery framework across the entire Execution Team, the SVP – Data Intelligence is the operator who runs that framework for DIG end to end: knowing every engagement, every analyst, and every utilization and quality number in the group, and acting on it weekly rather than quarterly.
Key Role Deliverables
- Capacity Management
- Real-Time Utilization Ownership: Maintain a live, granular view of DIG capacity across all engagements, analysts, and skill pods; flag and resolve over-utilization or bench buildup before it becomes a delivery or attrition risk
- Demand-Supply Planning: Partner with CST Persona Heads and RMs to forecast incoming DIG demand from new mandates and expansions, and pre-position the right skills and headcount ahead of need
- Cross-Pool Coordination: Manage handoffs and shared resourcing when a client solution requires DIG to work alongside other service lines (RIS, CFO, PSS, FPS), ensuring clean ownership and no dropped work
- Bench & Pipeline Visibility: Maintain a structured view of bench strength and pipeline coverage, escalating early to the VR Head when structural capacity gaps emerge
- Performance Management
- DIG KPI Ownership: Own and report the DIG-specific cut of the firm’s delivery KPI framework — Utilization Rate, On-Time Delivery %, Technical Error Rate, and Internal Quality Score — at the pod and individual level
- Performance Review Cycles: Lead structured, evidence-based performance reviews for the DIG delivery team, anchoring feedback in delivery metrics and internal quality audit findings rather than anecdote
- Quality Audits: Conduct or oversee internal quality reviews specific to DIG output, identifying root causes of recurring errors and rework and driving fixes through process, training, or tooling
- Incentive Alignment: Work with HR to ensure DIG performance-linked compensation and recognition are accurately tied to KPI outcomes
- Talent Management & Rewards and Recognition
- Talent Development: Own career pathing, skill development, and capability-building plans for DIG analysts and team leads, in line with the group’s evolving data and AI tooling requirements
- Attrition Risk Management: Monitor early signals of flight risk within DIG and work with HR and team leads to design and execute targeted retention interventions
- Rewards & Recognition: Design and run DIG-specific R&R mechanisms — spot recognition, milestone awards, and structured nomination processes — that reinforce the firm’s delivery philosophy and keep top performers visible to senior leadership
- Succession & Bench Strength: Identify and develop next-line leaders within DIG to reduce key-person dependency across pods
- AI & Technology Adoption
- AI Tooling Integration: Champion and operationalize the adoption of AI tools, Descrial, and internal technology solutions within DIG’s delivery workflow, identifying concrete use cases where automation reduces manual effort and improves output quality
- Adoption Tracking: Track AI tool adoption and usage depth across DIG as a measurable component of the group’s delivery maturity, reporting progress to the VR Head
- Process Standardization: Build and maintain DIG-specific delivery templates, checklists, and operating playbooks that reduce variation across pods and speed up onboarding of new hires
- Continuous Improvement: Run a continuous improvement cadence within DIG — harvesting best practices from high-performing pods and scaling them across the rest of the group
- Stakeholder Management
- VR Head Partnership: Serve as the primary day-to-day operator for DIG within the VR function, feeding accurate, current data into the firm’s consolidated delivery quality and utilization dashboard
- CST Collaboration: Maintain close working relationships with CST Persona Heads to ensure delivery commitments involving DIG are feasible, resourced, and executed to quality
- HR Partnership: Work closely with HR on performance reviews, retention, and R&R execution for the DIG team
Key Capabilities
- KPIs
- Primary: Attrition Rate (voluntary, DIG)
- Quality: Internal Quality Score, Technical Error Rate, Value Milestone Achievement Rate (DIG-specific)
- Efficiency: Utilization Rate, On-Time Delivery %, AI tool adoption rate within DIG
- Talent: R&R participation rate, performance review completion and quality, succession bench depth

- Data & Technology Background: Strong working knowledge of data analytics, data infrastructure, or data engineering concepts — enough to credibly direct a technical delivery team and evaluate tooling decisions, not necessarily as a hands-on practitioner
- AI Fluency: Practical familiarity with AI productivity tools and workflow automation, with the ability to identify, pilot, and scale use cases within a delivery team
- Delivery & People Leadership: Demonstrated experience managing a data, analytics, or technology delivery team in a consulting, financial services, or professional services environment, with direct ownership of capacity, quality, and performance outcomes
- Performance Framework Execution: Hands-on experience running KPI tracking, quality review cycles, and performance management processes — not just designing them
- Talent Builder: Track record of developing analysts and team leads, running effective R&R programs, and reducing attrition through targeted intervention
- Financial Services Context: Understanding of the operating context of Private Equity, Investment Banking, or Wealth Management delivery environments is preferred
- Data-Driven Operator: Comfortable working in ambiguity with a strong instinct to ground every decision — capacity, performance, or talent — in metrics and trends rather than intuition
- Execution Discipline: Exceptionally organized and operationally rigorous, able to track multiple pods, deadlines, and quality loops simultaneously without dropping the ball
Experience
- SVP-level role requiring approximately 10+ years of total professional experience, with significant exposure to managing data, analytics, or technology delivery teams
- Direct experience owning capacity planning, performance management, and talent development for a data or technology function, ideally within a consulting, financial services, or professional services delivery environment
- Demonstrated comfort working with data and technology teams — prior background in data analytics, data engineering, BI/reporting, or a related technical discipline is strongly preferred
- Experience driving AI or automation tool adoption within a delivery team, with measurable impact on efficiency or quality
Education
MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree preferred. A background in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, combined with people management experience, will also be strongly considered.
Compensation
The compensation structure will be as per industry standards
- TresVista is a proud Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on any basis of race, religion, color, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability, marital status, or national origin. All aspects of TresVista employment will be based on merit, competence, performance, and business needs
- The role involves contributing to TresVista’s data security practices by ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information handled, in alignment with the ISMS policies and framework
- The role involves contributing to TresVista’s business continuity practices by supporting organizational resilience, minimizing disruption, and ensuring timely recovery of critical operations in alignment with the BCMS policies

Enterprise Intelligence Orchestration creates a cohesive AI ecosystem that bridges the gap between AI's potential and real business impact, ensuring the structured coordination of AI systems with enterprise applications, data, and human oversight.

TresVista | The Intelligence Layer
TresVista is the human-in-command talent that makes the technology work. As expert consultants, we architect and govern our clients' enterprise intelligence systems. Our teams design the data foundations, act as an outsourced AI procurement and curation function to select best-in-class technology, and provide the critical advisory that orchestrates seamless execution between AI agents and human experts.

Descrial | The Operating System
Descrial is the platform that turns data into action. It is the intelligent operating system where all workflows, data, and execution occur.
