Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for engaging with government agencies,

regulatory bodies, and other external stakeholders to support the Thermal Power Plant’s

operational and strategic objectives.

  • Lead the process of obtaining and managing permits, licenses, and approvals required for

the business unit’s projects and operations.

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental regulations and standards,

collaborating with internal teams to address any gaps or risks.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials, bureaucrats, and politicians

to facilitate smooth operations and project execution.

  • Monitor and analyze regulatory developments and policy changes, providing strategic

insights and recommendations to the leadership team.

  • Represent the Thermal Power Plant business unit in high-level discussions and negotiations

with external stakeholders to secure favorable outcomes.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment between regulatory requirements and

operational practices.

  • Drive initiatives to enhance the business unit’s reputation and credibility among key

stakeholders, including local communities and industry bodies.

  • Provide strategic guidance to the CEO and leadership team on matters related to corporate

affairs and regulatory compliance.

  • Lead crisis management efforts related to regulatory or stakeholder issues, ensuring timely

and effective resolution.

Qualifications

Proven track record of 20+ years in corporate affairs, regulatory compliance, or stakeholder

engagement within the power or energy sector.
