Video Professional — AI Training (Contract, Remote · $80/hr)

We're looking for experienced video professionals to help shape how AI models learn to understand and generate video. Your craft — not an AI background — is what matters here. If you've spent years editing, shooting, or building visual effects, your instincts are exactly what these models need.

What you'll do

• Apply your hands-on expertise (editing, filming, VFX, post-production, or motion graphics) to give AI models precise, expert feedback.
• Analyze video for the nuances, technical details, and creative techniques that models struggle to learn on their own.
• Partner with AI researchers to annotate and assess video datasets for training and evaluation.
• Review AI-generated video outputs and critique them against real production standards.
• Curate diverse, high-quality video samples across genres, formats, and production scenarios.
• Document your reasoning clearly so cross-functional teams can act on it.

What you bring

• Extensive professional experience in a video-centric role (editor, cinematographer, VFX artist, motion designer, or similar).
• Deep command of production workflows, editing tools, and/or VFX pipelines.
• A sharp eye for both technical and aesthetic quality.
• Strong written communication — you can explain complex video concepts to non-experts.
• Self-direction and solid time management in a remote setting.
• Comfort giving constructive feedback through iterative, detail-oriented work.

Nice to have

• Exposure to AI, ML, or data annotation projects.
• Breadth across video genres, styles, and technical standards.
• A background in training, mentoring, or technical documentation.

Compensation: $80/hour, contract. Fully remote, flexible hours.
