Job Description

Join us as a Business Analyst in our Tax & Xceptor Based Services within the Markets Post Trade Technology Tribe. You will play a crucial role in helping to scale data reporting and Tax services on Xceptor, our external vendor platform, building strong data foundations and enabling AI‑driven efficiency across complex operational and regulatory services.

About The Team

The Markets Post Trade Technology Tribe focuses on delivering technology solutions that support and enhance post-trade operations within financial markets. This includes processing, settlement, and reporting of trades across various asset classes such as equities, fixed income, and derivatives. By leveraging modern technologies and collaborating closely with stakeholders, the tribe aims to optimise post-trade processes, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance with market standards and regulations.

The Xceptor Based Services Squad spans Tax Services and Xceptor‑based Services, using the Xceptor platform to automate complex operational problems through AI, data management, and modern cloud technologies. The Xceptor‑based Services area is a new initiative that bridges new strategy, Operations and IT to accelerate scalable, technology‑led service delivery.

The workplace is located in Vilnius, Lithuania. Danske Bank supports workplace flexibility (we currently use a hybrid work model, where we work at least 3 days in the office.

This role does not include a relocation allowance for candidates who are not based in Lithuania.

You will:

  • Drive analysis of complex business requirements and turn them into concrete, value delivering outcomes across Tax and LC&I Services
  • Collaborate and manage stakeholders across departments to gather and document functional and technical requirements
  • Lead collaboration with developers to design and implement effective solutions, ensuring that business requirements are accurately translated into technical specifications
  • Drive outcomes and manage progress, risks, and issues, driving timely resolution and delivery
  • Communicate with external vendors and manage backlog of vendor initiatives and application improvements
  • Develop and maintain clear documentation, including process flows and user guides

About you:

  • A self-driven individual with at least 5 years’ experience in the finance industry
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; proactive, transparent, and collaborative across Business, IT, and Operations
  • Experience with data quality, controls, reporting, or regulatory data pipelines or exposure to Xceptor or similar vendor platforms is an advantage
  • Experience in complex operational or regulatory environments (e.g. capital markets, post‑trade, reporting, or data‑heavy services)
  • Ability to remove roadblocks and deliver in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate technical capabilities in a non-technical and concise manner
  • A pro-active attitude and willingness to learn is key, tax expertise is not essential

The monthly salary range is from 3920 EUR to 5880 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
