Job Responsibilities
- Plan, direct and coordinate all production activities for the specific M+H zone to ensure that the customer orders are processed on time, to budget, meeting our customers quality requirements
- Ensure strict adherence to MH quality procedures and compliance to all customer requirements during the complete production process
- Lead, direct and coordinate a team of employees within the area of responsibility
- Plan and control the production budget within the area of responsibility, ensure the efficient use of the financial resources as well as the proper allocation of costs
- Attend and contribute to daily SQDC review at the site to ensure performance to production basics and delivery of expected results
- Plan, implement and control the RPS (Rapid Problem Solving)/8D process to ensure that all quality standards are met
- Ensure that the machine capacities are optimally planned and used, and the technical reliability and maintenance of the machines, equipment and tools is sufficiently supported by all other applicable functions
- Adhere to the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Process to ensure that the process performance contributes to improving zone performance
- Responsible for facilitating continuous improvement and optimization to ensure the increase in efficiency and deliver year over year non-material savings targets
- Ensure that all documentation and standards in regards the production activities and facilities are available up-to-date and in full adherence to TS standards
- Collaborate actively with the other M+H departments/subsidiaries
- Responsible for the safety of all associates by ensuring compliance with all safety requirements and environmental policies
- Conduct Audits to ensure compliance to all ISO / TS / EMS Standards. Ensure non-conformances are addressed
- Implement, coordinate and control cleanliness and the order of the production area/activities (e.g., ensure the 5S Process, implement Production Basics etc.)
- Guide, develop and motivate the direct reports within the HR policy
- Build and reinforce a positive culture in alignment with our FILTER values for all associates within the team. Ensure fair and equal compliance to HR policies
- Identify, facilitate, and maintain the personnel training needs and development plan
- Ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed and directed
- Ensure that the personnel are employed in accordance with the production needs and the employees are assigned to the positions that match their qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or a relevant field of technical or business education
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in the field of manufacturing operations
- 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Injection Molding experience
- Tier 1 Automotive industry manufacturing experience
- Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge on handling TS 16949 and ISO 14001 requirements
- MS Office
- Master's Degree in Engineering or a relevant field of technical or business education
- Experience with SAP
